Passing along sound advice, from Anne Sweeney (co-chair, Disney-ABC Television Group):
'My Family and I were in San Francisco for a long weekend, and we were strolling around the farmers' market. As I wondered by this one stall, I look up and saw a piece of steel that had been etched with a quote. It asked, "What would you attempt if you could not fail?"
She added that it froze her in her tracks, and made her think about life, personal, family, and business (Fortune Magazine, Sept. 29, 2008).

'That got me thinking of people that play by the rules their entire life (crossing on the green and stopping on the red)...are they any better off?
Living safely, without pushing against the wind. Or trying something new, because you were afraid you would suck...
Do you worry about 'not being good enough?'
I agree with Sweeney -- 'what matters is that you experience it as if you could not fail. It speaks to big dreams, innovation, challenging yourself and pushing to create what's next.'
I think everyday that maybe my brain might not be the biggest, or I might not be the smartest...but, I live everyday knowing that I must push my-less-smarter-brain as if I will do something great...or land close to it.
Isn't that so much better than not trying at all. -- Without it, I would feel that I'm only half alive.
