Race, Politics, Cultural Divide...and Chris Rock?

Americans have avoided the pink elephant in the room -- (or is it the brown elephant?) --when it comes to this years historic year for a black presidential candidate.

In this Chris Rock cultural-criticism-rant -- why brown people aren't allowed to have wealth and power -- he talks about bling, bling as a solvent of the nuevo rich...

'the white-and-black-class system that doesn't much allow for empowering wealth for people of color:

So, 'how wide a gap still remains between whites and blacks?...'And more importantly will those negative feelings and racial prejudices -- (some of them subconscience) -- over-shadow the issues and influence politics this year.

I'm thinking 'yes,' -- especially when people bring up the fact that McSame has 11 houses and 10 cars (compared to Obama's one house and one car)---but, hey, I'd love to be proven wrong...
