Business101: fearlessly own what you do!

"People who work nine to five live too much in the now," says 50 cent. "They go for what makes them comfortable right then instead of the future."

"He's like Napoleon," when it comes to business says writer Robert Greene (The 48 Laws of Power) on the Candy Shop rapper.

Their new collab applies those same Napoleon-like strategies into what works in todays business environment;

'and expects to -- "capture and create a visible parallel between street life and corporate America standard and structure." Greene adds, "We are living through chaotic times; the standard models for success in business and life don't work so well anymore."

When asked: "Taking cues from 50 is one thing if you're in the music business. But what if you're, say, a salesperson at a large company?" (Fortune Magazine)

Mr Greene answered this way -- "Something 50 talks a lot about is the importance of owning yourself."

'Obviously people who work in an office aren't thinking, "I'm going to own this company," but Greene says - if you think in terms of ownership, it changes everything you do...

You're thinking, "How can I get to a place where I actually own this project or own this information that I have learned and people have to come to me to get it?"

Talking up that entrepreneurial spirit required for the 21st century -- "The 50th Law" might be added to my to-buy list (especially in this bad economy):
